Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Pune office:

SAP BO Admin

What can you expect?

• Strong experience on SAP BO Product Suite as a hands-on Administrator. (Must Have)
• Strong experience on all modules of SAP BO include IDT, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, etc. (Must Have)
• Over 4 years' Experience on BO administration, installation and configuration would be a must
• Should have experience of handling both day to day Admin Tasks like deployments, Access Enablement, Health Monitoring etc. as well as maintenance of overall BO Platforms
• Should have experience of acting as a Review Gate to ensure optimal solution (and also optimizing Solutions) are put onto the Platform
• Should have experience on Universe and Web Intelligence Report Development (Must Have)
• Experience of being part of an End to End BI Solutions built over DWH systems with SAP BO as the Reporting Solution
• Prior Experience on Tableau as an Admin would be a plus
• End to End production support experience and good knowledge of ITIL concepts
• Knowledge of ticketing tool. E.g. Service Now, Remedy and ALM Tool e.g. JIRA
• Good understanding of Application Support principles such as incident management, problem management, change management
• Skilled in handling user queries and requests
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work in team across multiple projects and multiple geographies
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
• Adaptability to change
• Knowledge of processes & best practices within the team & industry

We will count on you to:

• Own up the SAP BO Administration Responsibilities Including

  • installation and configuration
  • Day to day Admin Tasks like deployments, Access Enablement, Health Monitoring, etc.
  • Acting as a Review Gate to ensure optimal solution are put onto the Platform
  • Handling the support issues from business users.
  • Monitoring the resources of Business Objects servers.
  • Setting up the auditing policies, and manage event and alerts related to CMS, Audit and Reporting Database services
  • Keep up availability of BO Web applications CMC, BI Launchpad, and other applications.
  • Manage day to day scheduled report jobs from Instance Manager.
  • Manage userGroups and permissions.
  • Manage Universe and Connections and other BI Repository objects.
  • Backup and Restore of BusinessObjects environment.
  • End to End production support

• As Module Lead, take up ownership of the overall Admin of the Platform including Day to Day managing of Admin Team

• Follow standard set of processes for Support, Development as well as Change Management
• Ability to work in team across multiple projects and multiple geographies
• Have Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
• Adaptability to change

What you need to have:

• 7 -10 years' experience on SAP BO Administration
• BE/ BTECH/ MCA/ M TECH

What makes you stand out?

• Strong Experience acting as a Gate to Review and certify if the Solution is built optimally
• Experience of SAP BO Development (IDT and Web Intelligence)
• Prior Experience on Tableau as an Admin would be a plus
