Client Implementation PMO Project Manager - Mercer Singapore

What can you expect?

• Your key focus will be to support Program Management Office (PMO) for CI regional team to improve & maintain standards for project management best practice.
• Work with PMO Lead to become custodian of best practice methodology and drive continuous improvement and introducing market leading PM best practices e.g. Agile.
• Support in driving the required governance controls and cadence around management reporting.
• Ensure implementation standards, process and controls are upheld by the CI teams and transition successfully to Operations teams
• Support capacity planning for new projects & migration program with the team leaders for on time delivery.
• Project-manage solution implementation, migration and renewal activities.
• Handle migration project work stream with plans for completion by 2021

We will count on you to:

• Provide governance oversight across all client deliveries.
• Work closely with PMO Lead and CI Team Leads to ensure all new projects and migration program is on track against scope, budget, timeline and key risks
• Ensure adherence to and continual improvement of best practices and documentation standards
• Update and apprise management for risk, issue and status tracking
• Partner and communicate effectively with team leads, project managers, and offshore Leads and provides oversight for efficient and timely deliveries.
• Articulate and implement Mercer's portal services to clients.
• Become a champion of Mercer best practice for project management framework
• Adhere to the Flex implementation methodology for the client delivery i.e. Initiation; Requirements; Design &Configuration; Testing & UAT; Go Live;Project closure.
• Interface with other teams in Mercer EH&B (client management teams, System Configuration Team and offshore service center) for optimal service delivery and issue resolution
• Manage customer expectations, resolves project conflicts, and delivers the assigned project on time.
• Identify documents and manage project risks, open items, schedules, scope, and priorities

What you need to have

We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Project Management in client delivery environments

In Addition, You Should Possess:

• An undergraduate degree in information technology, information systems or computer science is required.
• Strong Employee Benefits domain knowledge, Team management, project management & client management skills
• MS Project skills & experience and advanced MS Office Skills
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate system requirements documentation;
• Proven ability to successfully manage projects of varying complexity.
• Ability to operate/ navigate in a multi-cultural business environment
• Quantitative, fact-based approach to decision making
• Demonstrated financial acumen and commercial mind-set
• Previous experience of Employee Benefits, brokerage or managing the delivery of HR information system is an advantage.
• Darwin knowledge is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma and/ or Project Management certification preferred.
• Proven Stakeholder and Vendor management skills
• Effective Time management, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
