Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Client Services Analyst - Analytics, Research and Tools (ART)

What can you expect?

The ART team is responsible for the development of new business for Mercer's market leading investment tools globally, as well as supporting colleagues in Mercer's investment business in their use of the tools. The team provides a high level of client servicing to both prospects and clients (internal and external) of these services as well as supporting consultants who are engaged in advising on Mercer's intellectual capital (market intelligence).

This suite of software tools includes the Global Investment Manager Database (GIMD) and MercerInsight. The typical client base includes government linked funds, large pension funds, manager of managers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, investment managers and wealth managers as well as our consulting colleagues.

We will count on you to:

• Leading on the training and client servicing for asset managers and institutional clients (typically government linked funds, pension funds, manager of manager, endowments and foundations, insurance firms, private banks and family offices) across Asia. Ensuring we meet client expectations and that they are fully utilising the functionality available in MercerInsight, whilst also contributing to and ensuring a high client retention rate for the region.

• Supporting the requirements of senior ART sales team members and consultants with respect to ART products and actively identifying potential new client opportunities and existing client upgrade opportunities.

• Ensuring that client queries are resolved in an efficient manner (telephone and email)

• Arranging and attending face to face meetings with both internal and external clients

• Working with the project team and technology provider on the key development requirements for MercerInsight

• Working with and contributing to the global and regional ART teams activity to deliver on business goals

• Helping to maintain the integrity of our Asian peer comparison universes by ensuring accurate and relevant composition. This will involve regular engagement with our manager researchers and asset managers to understand investment strategies

• Working with Mercer's finance team to ensure clients are billed accurately and on-time

What you need to have:

• Approximately 3 years client servicing experience in financial tools/platforms

• A strong understanding of the asset management industry and the role of an investment consultant

• Quality driven and detail orientated

• Excellent communication skills, flexible attitude to work and a professional manner

• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Confident in giving presentations and conducting training, both on-site and on the phone

• Knowledge of financial platforms such as Morningstar, Datastream, Bloomberg, Lipper, Mercer GIMD and MercerInsight is beneficial.

• Working and contributing to the development of the local and global ART team as well as using initiative to drive projects forward

• Taking responsibility and ownership of the tasks assigned to the them and to meet deadlines
