Corporate Claims Advisor - Marsh - Birmingham
Position Overview
Marsh's Corporate Claims Practice, provides value added service across all classes of claims, ensuring that our clients obtain the best possible outcomes in terms of speed, service, advice and monetary. Birmingham hub deal with Clients from London, Maidstone, Reading, Bristol, Milton Keynes, and Birmingham offices (and their satellite offices). We already have team members based in Aberdeen in our team.
What can you expect**?**
Our Claims advisors are aligned to the above Marsh offices and clients working on mixed class portfolios (MD/BI, EL/PL including disease claims, PA/Travel, and some Motor) to ensure they are able to build long lasting relationships with clients. We pride ourselves on making a difference on each and every claim. Some Clients only approach us if they need assistance in resolving issues on direct reported claims, others use us more regularly

We will count on you to:
Negotiate with Insurers/suppliers to achieve the most beneficial, cost effective settlement for the Client
Review and interpret policy wordings to obtain the best claims settlements for Clients
Meet agreed standards of accuracy, service, work volumes, and other performance targets in line with bespoke Client SLA's and BSC targets
Handle and case manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues
Identify revenue opportunities where work is outside agreed service level, which Client has already paid for.
Assist with Client claims audits and the provision of summary reports and analysis prior to renewal as directed
Undertake specific tasks as directed by management adhering to agreed timescales
What you need to have:
Experience of commercial/corporate claims handling in a Company or Broker environment
Understanding of Client Insurance programmes and service plans
Ability to organize self and manage priorities
Competence in Microsoft Office and all relevant Marsh business applications
Have an up to date knowledge of/and be able to apply, legal and contractual interpretations of policy wordings and other claims related issues
Ability to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions
Competence in Microsoft Office and all relevant Marsh business applications
Driven to deliver results works to timescales and delivers accurate advice and information
