The role: Development Executive (Sales Academy)
- This position is for a sales focused candidate who is looking to forge a career as a future Sales Professional in Marsh. The Sales Academy is a structured 2 year programme, with successful candidates developing into a Junior Sales Professional on completion.

- The academy will combine learning activities, prospect research, sales support and direct sales tasks over the programme, withstructured training, mentoring and coaching alongside.

The starting role will be a combination of:
- Contact management
- Prospect research and planning
- Sector research and planning
- Opportunity shadowing and contribution
- CE/Tier two new business support
- Learning both technical and sales specific
The academy is a two year programme, with the finishing aims of:
- Demonstrating significant progress towards ACII qualification (min Dip CII)
- Learning from shadowing client renewals and new business opportunity
- Appointment setting and financial contribution from contact management activity
- A steer towards an industry focus to build a future specialism
- Ability to progress into a Junior Sales Professional role geography flexible
What you need to have:
- Sales drive, focus on results and financially driven
- Business acumen and an understanding of the core mechanics of finance
- Ideally, some experience of direct sales
- Maturity and an ability to connect across multiple segments / demographics
- Ambition, tenacity, confidence, ability to learn
