Mercer is seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage a team of 4-6 Client Service Advisors in Glasgow on a 3 day a week basis. You could be based in either Glasgow or Bristol and you would be working with colleagues to provide a first class service to commercial clients of our Employee Health & Benefits business. The team are responsible for the retention and development of clients with health and protection policies including PMI, Cash Plans Group Risk, Life Assurance and Income Protection benefits.

We will rely on you to:
- transition and appropriate ongoing management of the client portfolio Day to day management of c4-6 direct reports
- Take ownership of driving team client retention and development targets
- Establish and develop a growth mind-set within the team
- Coach and mentor the team to ensure personal and professional development
- Effectively communicate with clients, Client Service Advisors, Consultants and providers to deliver the best possible client experience
- Oversee client relationships and resolve any issues when required
- Manage the on-boarding of new clients to ensure a smooth
What you need to have:
- Proven track record of leading a team that provide excellent customer service
- Experience of business development on existing accounts
- Employee Benefits Experience including Group Risk, Income Protection, Life Assurance and/or Private Medical Insurance
- The ability to work in the Glasgow office.

Responsibilities
- Day to day management and personal development for a team of c4-6 Client Service Advisors
- Ownership of the delivery of team goals and focused on delivering an excellent client experience across the team.
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders to achieve best service for client.
- Oversee client relationships, support CSAs/clients when needed to resolve issues, retain and develop clients.
- Deliver business development grow within the team portfolio and establish a growth mind-set within the team.
