Key Responsibilities:
Our consulting roles offer excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with relevant prior experience. As a professional member of our firm, your initial responsibilities will include:
- Support the establishment and growth of the Oliver Wyman Australian CMT team, both in the establishment of a reputation in the local market and development of a practice growth strategy
- Support the execution of practice build strategy by supporting recruiting, marketing, and intellectual capital development
- Play a leading role in the development of a portfolio of key client relationships and client specific propositions, drawing upon existing Oliver Wyman intellectual capital and client experience
- Lead the development of thought leadership and market commentary, executing through both internal and external forums, and through media channels
- Seasoned diplomatic, communication and client management skills to guide and influence clients in an informed way across all situations including execution of the commercial process, becoming trusted advisors
- Provide day to day leadership of client projects and aspects of the client relationship and commercial process within those relationships, teaming with Partners.
- Leverage Oliver Wyman expertise, and the firm's technical competence to design and implement effective client solutions.
- Establish themselves as a well-regarded contributor by Partners, Consultants, and Support Professionals alike, building a strong brand within and outside the firm.
- Create exciting and additive intellectual capital through their leadership.
- An active leader in firm building activities and a role model for firm values.
Experience Required:
While specific responsibilities will vary based on previous experience, the ideal candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or project-based, team-oriented environments. Additional Industry experience advantageous.
- Strong CMT industry knowledge, with deep expertise in key practice relevant content areas.
- Strong CMT knowledge, and issues facing firms today and in the future, with experience of helping clients to address them.
- Proven track record of project leadership, execution, managing teams and work streams, and business development excellence, against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients, with the ability to guide and influence thinking
- Engagement in building business, and creating relevant and impactful intellectual capital
- Team development, and a strong personal brand both within and outside the firm.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
- Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives and c-suite stakeholders
- Undergraduate and/or advanced degree from a top academic program/institution
- Willingness to travel
