Marsh Asia has an exciting and challenging opportunity available and is seeking suitably qualified and experienced senior executives for the following position based in the firm's Hong Kong or Singapore office.
HEAD OF CLAIMS ADVISORY & OPERATIONS ASIA
What can you expect?
This new role is expected to partner with the Global Head of Claims Operations and regional and country claims teams to optimize effective and efficient delivery of claims services. The successful candidate is expected to evaluate claims operation processes and departmental strategy while managing the impact and delivery of change to increase team operational goals and maximize process efficiencies. The incumbent will work with functional leaders to complete the segregation of between Advocacy and Operations based on existing best practice globally, and create the expanded Claims Operations organization. In addition, the incumbent will contribute to the design and execution of the Operational Excellence Claims work stream in Marsh.
We will count on you to:
- Oversee the development and delivery of the target state Claims Operations organization
- Leverage proven operational design principals to define the Claims Operations strategy, optimize location footprint, and manage annual budget to support strategic intent and financial goals of the business.
- Create a client focused environment focused on operational excellence and accountability by developing and driving forward the strategic and operational agenda
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to engage, challenge and create opportunities for transformative change in Claims Operations.
- Streamline processes and minimize waste and reduce human time on performing repetitive rule
- Partnering with leadership team, work on a Marsh portal that allows clients to notify, update and track their claims to allow Marsh to be fully integrated in the lifecycle but exit non-value process
- Optimize role segregation between Advocacy and Operations/Advisory based on existing best practice globally
- Lead and Manage Operational Support, Execution, & Strategic Initiative Delivery
- Drive change management within the organization
- Lead Organization Optimization, People Management & Communication
What you need to have:
- Minimum 12-15 years of progressive working experience in Insurance Claims and Claims Management & Operations
- Proven project/change management skills, ideally in an international insurance claims processing environment.
- Fluency (spoken and written) in English
- Proficiency in an Asian language is advantageous,
- Good skills in software applications such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. Master's degree desirable.
