Internal Communication Specialist
What can you expect?
As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will help develop and deploy global communication programs for key stakeholders, ensuring the right message, right audience, right channel and right time. Key accountabilities include supporting growth and business priorities, people-focused strategic initiatives through clear, concise and effective communication strategies. Your role is critical to Marsh as you will be providing specialized communication support and project management for the development, execution and measurement of a multi-channel internal communication strategy that clearly articulates and aligns with the organization's growth strategy.
You will interact with colleagues at all levels and in all roles of the organization and help maintain the pulse on distinct colleague populations and how communication can serve them most effectively. In addition, you will provide executive communication support to home office functional leaders, including development, production and distribution of videos, quarterly business updates, etc. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Communications and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and communication of priorities to sales/ client-facing colleagues.
In this role, you will be part of a team of diverse and highly talented professionals who are dedicated to partnering with the business to drive strategy and communication.

We will count on you to:
Manage, review, and publish content on communication vehicles (Intranet, newsletters, email, social media, etc.) to ensure on-time, accurate delivery and availability of fresh, updated content.
Evaluate and interpret user needs, analyze the audience and determines the most effective means of presentation methodology, to effectively and efficiently support the objectives of a function or business.
Develop and write presentation materials for firm-wide meetings and events.
Support the planning and execution of internal promotion, such as video production and other multi-media vehicles, to deliver key messages across the business/function/enterprise.
Set project-related and/or department-related budgets, to support operational and strategic goals.
Provide mentoring to less experienced staff, in order to continue output improvement.
Consult on critical issues with all levels of internal (and external, if appropriate) stakeholders, to support the execution of communications materials.
Provides relevant subject matter expertise, as requested, to assigned projects.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, human resources or related field of study
5+ years of communications or marketing experience
Advanced editing, proofreading and composition skills
Proven technical and persuasive writing skills
Strong verbal communication and client relationship skills
