Asia Multinational Regional Sales Leader
What you can expect?
Multinational is going through a transition, in addition to the core goal of providing exceptional client service, the Global and Asia team are looking for the Multinational team to be a leading contributor to growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to drive and execute the Asia Multinational growth strategy.
The role requires close collaboration with Producing Offices, Industry, Specialty, Product Line leaders, and In-Country teams. The primary role will be to generate leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to showcase our value proposition in a compelling way, experience at responding to tenders and strong Sales Force discipline. They will be required to give presentations, expand their network, and run the sales funnel. It's essential that our sales leader be personable and professional.
We will count on you to:
- Initially drive the Multinational sales process from a regional perspective but quickly foster a Growth Mindset within MCS country teams.
- Identify and pursue new and expanded Multinational business, bringing in the most appropriate colleagues to deliver the strongest possible value proposition.
- Have a strong Industry led approach, ensuring that Marsh can meet the Technical, Client Management and Placement needs of our prospects
- Use Sales Force as the primary tool to measure success and progress
- Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct Marsh Global Connect demos
- Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, bookings, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
What you need to have:
- 10 years plus experience in either sales or insurance
- Insurance specialty experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills
- Personal integrity and accountability
- Ability to travel at least 25%
