The Role And Responsibilities
We are looking for a first-rate UI product designer who is comfortable working in a team of smart minds alongside driven and ambitious clients. The successful candidate will be joining our global Digital Design capability and working alongside design colleagues in other locations to share ideas and design innovative new solutions to challenging client problems. As part of our small design team in the region it is essential you are comfortable working with a team of diverse talents, and important you are comfortable to collaborate remotely with the rest of the design team. You will be liaising with a range of stakeholders (both internal and external) as well as partner firms, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
You will be working on unearthing user and business requirements through helping to participate and lead design thinking workshops and then working on customer flows, wireframes, interaction patterns and prototypes to help take what is in people's heads and bring it to life in the most efficient way possible.
Most of the work will be using the Agile PM framework, but you need to be more than just a UX operator, you need to be able to help everyone understand the big picture and help to drive the entire solution.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong portfolio of client and user-focused digital design products and be familiar with a range of relevant software and tools, as well as being able to demonstrate a comfort with design thinking processes.

Role requirements
Design skills - Must have:
- 2 - 3+ years in digital product and service design projects
- Fluent in Arabic & English (spoken and written)
- Strong proven portfolio of business focused UI design products and services
- Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity layouts, prototypes
- Working knowledge of design industry tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Invision
- Experience in working in multi-disciplined teams to deliver AGILE projects
- Understanding of the principles of Waterfall and fluency in Agile Delivery
- Experience with digital tools, web and mobile app design
- Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.
- Working knowledge in design standards and design systems
- Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
- Familiarity with Design Thinking process and execution
Design skills - Nice to have:
- Working experience in the user research process
- Conducted or moderated usability testing sessions
- Skills in workshop moderation
- Working experience in the customer journey design
Soft skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
- Strong client orientation, ability to understand client business needs, innovate and translate them into design requirements
- Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you've already got to good use - Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you'll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients' biggest problems
