Marsh is seeking candidates to join our Private Equity and M&A Team as a PEMA Senior Project Manager based in Milan.
What can you expect?
With more than two decades of M&A experience, Marsh advises on insurance services to buyers and sellers at all stages of an M&A and IPO transaction. When assessing the legal and financial risks and consequences of an M&A process, it is also key to prepare from an insurance perspective.
The PEMA Practice is looking to expand the team to further increase its market position, following a strong development of Insurance M&A market. The purpose of this position is to be part of the M&A transaction services practice for the Private Equity and M&A market in Italy, to serve as strategic deal advisor to clients during transactions and to support the growth of the business.

We will count on you to:
Interact with Private Equity Firms as well as with Finance and HR executives, C-Suite members (i.e. CEO, COO, CFO) and other members of the business community.
Structure and place Transactional Risk Insurance solutions (i.e. Warranty & Indemnity, contingent Liability Insurances, Litigation Buy Out, Environmental M&A solutions,) and manage direct negotiations with Transactional Risk Insurance market;
Support key client engagements and large, complex projects, in collaboration with the project team, developing strategic solutions that address client needs and issues;
Deliver business development and sales activities in the Private Equity Market in Italy, to serve as strategic deal advisor to clients planning or during transactions and to support the growth of the Insurance M&A business.
Generates revenue through acquisition of new clients, cross-sell to current clients and extend current client engagements.
Prepare periodic reports and analyses used to plan and manage the M&A consulting services business
What you need to have:
Master's degree in Economics or Law.
Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on private M&A, including private equity transactions;
Fluent in written and spoken English;
Strong organizational, project management attitude and attention to details
Sales acumen and results driven
