Pharmacy Financial Consultant
What can you expect?
- Alignment with Mercer's specialty practice focused on Pharmacy Benefits
- Provide support and work with health plans and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to request data including utilization, financial, plan design and clinical data in order to perform evaluations for various pharmacy projects such as Request for Proposals (RFPs), renewal/benchmarking, contract negotiations, financial evaluations and cost projections, formulary and network access disruption analysis and plan design changes
- Management of pharmacy consulting projects
- Liaison between external and internal clients and multiple vendors

We will count on you to:
- Develop and manage project timelines
- Monitor progress to deadlines and budget
- Coordinate and schedule vendor and client calls
- Communicate status updates
- Interprets and summarize RFP responses
- Check data for reasonability and completeness
- Analyze actual versus expected healthcare costs
What you need to have:
- BS/BA preferred
- Related experience including financial analytics coupled with project management
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Advanced computer skills including extensive experience with Excel
- Experience with travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Written and verbal communication skills
What makes you stand out:
- Minimum of three years of related experience within the pharmacy or financial industries
- Prior consulting or pharmacy benefit management experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, project management and Excel skills
