Principal Test Engineer

MMGS India is seeking candidates for the following position in its Corporate Information Solutions (CIS) team based out of Mumbai.

Module Lead

• The successful applicant will expected to take full ownership of all Manual Testing deliverables for Oracle Financial ERP testing, follow all test practise guidelines, and mentor and coach team members.
• The role is techno functional role where the candidate will work as a subject matter expert in Oracle Financial ERP. This will be a high demanding role where the deliverables with high quality to be manage along with process improvement.
• Working in a large team having experience level from 4 yrs. to 15 years in manual and functional automation testing.

We will count on you to:

• Strong experience in Financial application testing with expert knowledge of one of the module

(AP, AR, GL, iProcurement, FA, CM)

• Understanding Business requirements and identifying scenarios for Manual testing
• Design test scripts ensuring proper coverage of Regression is achieved
• Execution of test scripts(Manual and Automated) and reporting the regression test results to the team on a daily basis
• Investigate technical problems and needs and determine possible solutions
• Document test results, defect logs and issue logs wherever possible
• Excellent understanding of work prioritization for team and supports stakeholder to achieve the target and deliverables.
• Excellent Ability to achieve expectation and relationship with other teammates.
• Consistent approach of learning new thing and being proactive that would help testing team as well as Stakeholders.
• Participate in development of technical documentation where possible
• Status reporting to the Test Lead / Test manager
• Training and mentoring other members of the team
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Manual testing techniques
• Demonstrable experience of web services testing
• Demonstrable experience of standalone and integrated desktop applications
• Ensuring that consistent quality and completion of testing process is achieved through Automation
• Liaise with the Test Lead, QA team and development team on a daily basis

What you need to have:

• Strong knowledge of Financial domain
• Excellent understanding of manual test process and defect management,
• Proactive to identify gaps & implement improvement with very less supervision.
• Excellent ability to identify risks and mitigation
• Very good insurance domain knowledge
• Excellent understanding of manual test process and defect management,
• Excellent understanding of agile life cycle (end to end)
