Private Client Advisor, High Net Worth (Open to Remote - US Pacific Region)
Marsh Private Client Services seeks a talented Private Client Advisor to join the Los Angeles team. As a Client Advisor, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, in relationship to overall policy review, expanded services and coverages as well as renewals.

We will count on you to:
- Review client exposures, loss experience and current coverage and recommend appropriate products and services. Present clients with accurate market data from appropriate resources to advise and counsel on complex risks.
- Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating and evaluating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in person, over the phone or via email. Manage client account receivables to ensure timely collection of premiums and payments to carriers.
- Understand, introduce and leverage the services of PCS Specialty Practice areas, as appropriate, including surplus lines placements.
- Conduct Client Advisory Reviews via teleconference meetings and occasional face-to-face meetings. On larger or more complex client, a manager/colleague will be present.
- Implement and maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documents that are delivered to clients.
- Communicate client's risk solution and binding instructions to carriers.
- Be responsible for new business development of assigned book of business through referrals and expanding existing client programs.
- Be accountable for client retention through delivery of exceptional client service.
- Build relationships with clients, Marsh colleagues and centers of influence that facilitate asking for and receiving high quality referrals that become clients.
What you need to have:
- High School Diploma
- Two or more years' experience in high net worth personal lines industry, including thorough knowledge of personal lines products and the unique needs of high net worth clientele
- California Property & Casualty License
- Exceptional computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Prior use of and/or familiarity with Agency Management Systems such as Applied, Sagitta or Epic
- Ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency and deadlines, etc.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality on a wide range of issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skill set
- Resourceful and proactive
- Flexible to travel as client and company needs require.
What makes you stand out?
- Bachelor Degree, preferred
- 4+ years of client management experience
- Key relationships with luxury carriers, such as AIG, Chubb, PURE
- Professional designations a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, etc.
