**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Private Client Insurance Advisor is responsible for the servicing of private client accounts, including selling additional policies and coverages to existing clients, and quoting and placing business for new clients.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Manage a book of insurance business while acting with a high degree of independent discretion and decision-making.
Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads to meet production goals.
Review insurance needs with prospective customers, make coverage recommendations and prepare insurance quotations as needed.
Prepare and submit applications and coordinate premium payment with client.
Prepare premium and coverage comparisons for clients to review insurance and make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
Service existing customer accounts with activities related to renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, rewrites and claims.
Access various carrier websites for account information related to quoting, coverage, billing, claims, underwriting information, etc.
Provide professional courteous service to our clients and business partners.
Maintain account information in agency management system including the proper documentation of conversations.
Review download reports to manage renewal and new policies.
Handle claim related matters with clients and carriers.
Assist Private Client Manager and other team members as needed.
Attend industry related continuing education training and courses.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum of 2 years experience or demonstrated proficiency in a Private Client (Personal Lines) Account Management or other customer service related role.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Superior customer service and problem solving skills.
Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficient computer skills including the use of programs in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Demonstrate sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment
