REGIONAL HI TECH INDUSTRY LEADER, ASIA PACIFIC
What can you expect?
The critical purpose of this role is to manage, enhance and grow the integrated Regional Hi Tech Industry survey offerings to both Regional Hi Tech Industry Forum (APITT) and other Hi Tech Industry clients across the Asia Pacific region.
The position holder will work closely with various stakeholders including the Regional Industry Forum Steering Committee, local Compensation & Benefits Survey Managers and Sales & Marketing as well as regional and global product and technology and operations teams to ensure the delivery of top quality compensation and benefit survey reports to the leading companies in the Hi Tech Industry.
The incumbent will be the relationship manager between clients and Mercer, ensuring that expectations are managed objectively for the mutual benefit of both.
As the industry expert, the incumbent will also provide consultation to clients in the area of compensation and benefit practices, and wider HR and rewards related issues as part of value-added client services relationship management.
We will count on you to:
- Ensure the delivery of quality surveys in a timely manner by working collaboratively with the internal key stakeholders
- Drive for continuous quality improvements of products, solutions and services through enhancements of tools and processes
- Enhance, implement and manage the business strategy to build dominance in the Hi Tech Industry sector
- Build a sustainable client stickiness and loyalty to Mercer by keeping updated with the latest business trends in the industry relevant to compensation and benefits and/or HR practices.
- Proactively work with internal key stakeholders on new solutions, products and services for this client group.
- Focus on key Regional Hi Tech Industry Forum client relationship/engagement, which may include developing and implementing strategies to effectively collaborate with, and provide direction to the Regional Hi Tech Industry Forum Steering Committee.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Hi Tech Industry forum group to ensure a high participation rate in all surveys.
- Provide guidance and directions to the community of Hi Tech managers in the region in ensuring consistency in customer liaison, engagement and data processing and management and other related issues. Ensure that the Hi Tech managers have a clear understanding of their pivotal role in the success of the Regional Hi Tech Industry forum surveys.
- Be the key liaison person between the Regional Hi Tech Industry forum clients and Mercer, balancing between the needs of the clients and Mercer's business objectives
- Ensure that the Regional Hi Tech Industry forum relationship and the relationships with other Hi Tech Industry clients are managed to achieve Mercer's financial objectives in terms of revenue and profitability.
- Develop and train Mercer colleagues on the needs and expectations of the clients
- Contribute to the broader development of services to all Mercer clients.
What you need to have:
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of the Hi Tech Industry
- Proven record in HR business partnering, developed over more than 12 years' experience with a key focus on compensation & benefits technical knowledge and expertise across multiple geographies.
