We will count on you to:
Ensures tax policies ( Belgium & Luxembourg) and procedures meet compliance and regulatory guidelines. Provides advice for tax implications of overall commercial structures. Develops, implements, evaluates and manages tax policies and procedures. Prepares, analyzes and maintains tax reports and other related material. Prepares correspondence with external tax agencies and consultants (e.g., auditors). Analyzes, documents and develops tax audit positions to minimize tax liabilities. Develops, assesses and implements tax strategies to improve earnings, reduce tax expense and maximize cash flow opportunities.
Be responsible for the preparation of income tax provisions for US-GAAP and local GAAP, completion of OneSource and other tax reporting requirements for the organization, preparation of income tax returns and indirect tax filings as well as advice LEGAL, BUSINESS & MMC on tax related matters.
Develops, implements, evaluates and manages accounting policies and procedures including cost accounting and general accounting to provide financial information required to control the company's operations. Manages NBB accounts & financial statements. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions.
Implements program activities to develop and maintain standardized processes following financial & Sub-region controller recommendations.
Administers and manages audit & internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant government and industry legislation and regulations.
What you need to have:
University degree (finance / economics) or recognized accounting qualification
10+ years of experience in a similar role
Very good command of French/English/Dutch
Working knowledge of ERP Accounting systems e.g. Oracle Financials
Practical knowledge of Excel
