Mercer is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant, for a remote role in our growing M&A Practice.
**Senior Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant**
**What can you expect?**
- In this role in our HR M&A Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our world-class consulting team
- You will have the opportunity to be on-site with our clients identifying and scoping fledgling M&A transactions
- As an M&A Consultant you will be challenged to partner with all of Mercer's lines of business including Health, Wealth, Careers and our Regional Market Development teams to develop holistic M&A strategies and execution

**We will count on you to:**
- Participate in the due diligence process and transition projects
- Oversee M&A Coordinators and junior members throughout the projects
- Assist in identifying and closing on value added opportunities for the client throughout the M&A engagement
- Support the client-facing business development activities as assigned such as researching clients, development of prospects/offerings/proposals/Engagement Letters, conducting conflict checks and managing other M&A protocols
**What you need to have:**
- Experience interacting with Financial and HR executives, C-Suite members (i.e. CEO, COO, CFO) in assisting to design and implement best practices
- Organizational design / cost synergy modelling and execution
- Experience working for an Corporate Employer in an M&A Capacity
- Benefits design in health and wealth
