What we do and who we are
The Darwin Workplace Consulting team provides DC pension consulting services and Darwin Pension Consultancy to a range of clients, the majority of which use Darwin, our SaaS (that's software as a service) platform for global benefits management, auto-enrolment and employee engagement.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Workplace Savings Consultant to proactively manage a bank some of our largest pension clients in a professional and compliant manner and maximising the business opportunities including oversight of the client's pension scheme managed via Darwin. The role will be carried out by the application of agreed processes and procedures whilst at all times adhering to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
The senior consultant will also get involved in additional duties such as
Project Management oversight of business wide projects
Peer review and development support for workplace savings consultants
Contribute to thought leadership
Support new business sales
Support the Head of DC Workplace Savings Consultancy
What can you expect:
The applicant will work with leading companies in the UK and provide pension / wider workplace savings and Darwin consultancy services to their allocated clients including governance, market reviews, newsletters and communications, technical updates and auto-enrolment support. Generating additional revenue in line with annual targets, including negotiating contract renewal fees and one off project work together with a number of cross selling opportunities for other parts of MMB and the MMC group companies. There will be an element of supporting the new business sales teams for example attending new business pitches and completing RFPs.
We will rely on you to:
Provide clients with pension consulting services in line with the client's service schedule
Be seen as a trusted adviser to your clients
Support clients use of the AE module on Darwin
Provide Darwin pension consultancy services, scoping and managing Darwin related projects
Meet your client retention target, ensuring clients remain profitable and create efficiencies
Be familiar in a reasonable period of time with the wider MMB Workplace proposition and therefore be able identify opportunities to cross-sell thus delivering for the whole firm.
Adherence to MMB processes & procedures
Know your targets for the year as well as your pipeline and have an evolving plan as to how you will achieve your goal
Meet all reasonable client and internal deadlines
Meet all agreed communication protocols
Accuracy in all aspects of work and record keeping
Meet compliance standards
Support with the development of Workplace Saving Consultants/Associates

What you need to have:
At least 4 years relevant experience in client facing DC pension consulting role
CII or equivalent level 4 qualification
