SVP, Partner Management - Pet Insurance
What can you expect?
- Grows and sustains satisfied business relationships, a very large, complex and profitable book of business and acquiring new relationships within a specialty utilizing proven credibility and exposure in the market
- Develops a strategic business and sales plan for a portfolio of clients utilizing an expert understanding of product offerings, cross-functional leadership insights, a keen awareness to market developments and trends within a specialty.
- Keeps current on account issues, industry and market trends and develops the growth strategy for targeted accounts, industries or specialties leveraging extensive experience and knowledge of best-practices to ensure appropriate solutions are marketed and proposed to target new buyer hubs, expand the book of business and maintain institutionalized accounts.
- Conducts complex financial analyses and reports intended to relay financial performance and quantitative and qualitative return on products and services for use by existing and potential relationships.

We will count on you to:
- Represents the firm when anticipating and advising on a customer's business needs and objectives, leads the development and presentation of complex custom solutions in response to account needs accounting for risk, conditions, coverage, and negotiates the most effective pricing for the full scope of services and overall business compliance.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring the project plan for various large-scale or complex sales initiatives in various accounts, ultimately, ensuring timeframes are reasonable and abided by and products or solutions meet expectations.
- Accountable for account satisfaction ensuring overall service needs are met, addressing escalated issues and miscellaneous concerns.
- Communicates and interfaces regularly with C-suite level professionals within client organizations to maintain professional relationships and networks.
- Acts as a visible leader in a specialty and participates in industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate.
What you need to have:
- Relevant experience in leading a pet insurance business P&L at an insurance carrier or broker/MGA or specialized agent distribution.
- Successful candidate will have personally impacted growth of a pet insurance program, understanding key levers necessary to drive significant YOY growth in the pet insurance market.
- Experience would include setting annual budgets, partner distribution strategy, marketing budget, oversight of policy count growth and customer service/digital platform.
- Candidate would ideally have knowledge of necessary marketing and digital strategy necessary to support pet insurance growth.
