Join the team responsible for developing the PFaroe Investment & Pensions solutions. These tools provide sophisticated financial risk modelling capability to clients in the retail investment and DC pension industry. Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to design functionality based on business requirements: software engineers, program management, UX/UI specialists, test engineers and subject matter experts.
Manage the end-to-end delivery and be a key part of the software development lifecycle of new product features and improvements within a hybrid working agile development team.
Help in the development of prototypes and designs of upcoming functionality using Excel, Python or similar tools.
Work closely with our Sales and Customer support teams to provide support on the technical and analytical aspects of the product to our clients.
Assist in providing content and reviewing documentation for new features as well as supporting training activities.
Be a key contributor to regular remote and on-site planning events, working with UK, Bulgaria and fully remote based teams.
Detail-oriented, organized and able to coordinate & assist teams in managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
Ability to work and think independently, strong analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
Excellent influencing, listening, communication, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s (required) and Master’s (preferred) degree in Finance, Mathematical Sciences or a related field.
Knowledge of some or all of the following though job experience, a degree and/or certifications required: asset / risk modelling, retail asset management, financial advice processes and software, DC scheme design.
Strong excel skills required.
Some system/business analysis experience preferred.
Experience working within agile software development preferred.
Passed, studying towards or interest in taking CFA Level I or equivalent preferred.
Buy-side solutions (BSS) is a business line of Moody’s Analytics providing modern technology solutions to asset owners, consultants, asset managers and insurers. The Risk team sits inside the wider Modelling Services group in BSS and is responsible for the delivery of risk analytics, primarily for the customers of the PFaroe DB product – a valuation, reporting and analytics platform for pension schemes. The team is also moving into other products across Moody’s Analytics, such as asset management and insurance.
