Role/Responsibilities The Role:
Develops and reviews performance test plans, results analysis, capacity planning guides etc, automate test scenarios using tools & scripting languages.
- Analyze performance characteristics to identify bottlenecks in medium to large-scale systems.
- Contribute towards the development of our Performance Framework to measure and improve performance of our CreditLens product platform.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP load generation /measurement software (e.g Jmeter, Gatling,Grinder) troubleshooting and tuning skills.
- Experience in using profiling CPU and Memory usage using open source or commercial tools.
- Working with engineering team, DevOps, QA and internal stakeholder on performance issues and improve/create tests that will identify those issues in the future.
- Work collaboratively with a cross functional teams of Architects, DevOps, DBAs and QA teams
Responsible for detailed, high-quality communication and documentation.
- Understanding and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and CI/CD (Jenkins) Process
Good working knowledge of Python
Experience in Linux/Unix including basic commands and scripting.
Working knowledge of SQL.
- Working experience of AWS services (e.g EC2, Cloudwatch, S3, RDS)
Nice to have:
Strong knowledge of source control systems and best practices ( Git, Merging, Branching, Pull requests, etc.)
Working knowledge of UI performance testing tools.
Hands on knowledge of Application Monitoring tools (e.g AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic)
