    Position summary

    dividual contributor role to be responsible for maintaining and extending existing customer relationships for the France Benelux region within Moody's Ratings. Within this role the candidate will work autonomously with minimal supervision by the Head of Relationship Management for France Benelux region.

    • Proactively manage a portfolio of existing accounts for the region across different sectors i.e. corporates, financial institutions and regional local government entities.

    • Responsible for deepening existing relationships, capturing price and growing the share of wallet by delivering a tailored value proposition to existing issuers.

    • Ensure we have an opportunity to bid for close to 100% of all x-border debt issuances of allocated issuers.

    • Contribute to the annual strategic planning process for France Benelux by assessing the vulnerability of relationships and by identifying new business opportunities for the supported market.

    • Represent the Relationship Management team at internal meetings with the analytical team and other departments where applicable.

    • Guide and support junior members of the relationship management team to facilitate professional development and efficiency.

    • May be asked to cover accounts outside of France Benelux

    • May be asked to take part in international cross functional projects.

    • Promote ESG offering by combining the success of Moody's as a credit rating agency with the expertise built in the rapidly growing sustainable finance market

    Requirements:

    • In-depth understanding of a range of capital markets, key characteristics and dynamics of capital and credit markets globally and specific nuances of France Benelux.

    • Strong communication skills. Effective at communicating with all levels at customer meetings in-person and by teleconference independently and with minimal oversight

    • Ability to articulate and explain Moody's value proposition, convincingly and unscripted

    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to defend pricing, contracts, and renewal terms.

    • Where applicable, respond to tenders including drafting responses and managing the process. Responses to tender documents

    • Expect to travel 20% of the time across the region to meet with existing clients

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent)

    • Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience from the rating industry or debt capital markets or extensive experience in the financial services industry or similar industry is required.

    • Very good communication skills orally and written are a prerequisite

    • Excellent team player

    • Business Fluency in French and English essential, fluency in other European Languages are a plus.

    Commercial. The primary function of the department is the establishment, maintenance and management of rating relationships throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
