    Position summary

    This role is part of the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) technical product team. Moody’s is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer who is motivated to help us transform the way technology is used to drive value in the space of Enterprise Risk space. This position will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for Enterprise Risk Team (Business Continuity Management, Operational Resiliency, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Impact Assessment, Crisis Management/Incident Management etc.) using Fusion RM suite which is built on Salesforce platform. This position will be responsible for the design, build, test, and deployment of assigned initiatives. The candidate will work in a matrix environment and collaborate with a cross-functional set of business, technology, and vendor stakeholders during projects. This individual will serve as a solution architect/lead technical developer/administrator interacting with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design data models, and build components and integrations in Fusion RM application using Salesforce platform.

    A successful candidate must be both a leader who can work with vendor resources, stakeholders and work with agile teams. On any day, the candidate could be doing any or all of the following:  

    • Ability to comprehend client requirements and provide effective business solutions; Works with leads to transform and develop new requirements into designs, development approaches and implementation.

    • Serve as lead hands-on system administrator for the Fusion RM environment.

    • Manage operational requests, end-users’ analysis and individual views, and troubleshoot issues

    • Lead continuous analysis of Fusion RM platform features, releases, upgrades, and best practices that align with organizational vision and strategy and that achieve the greatest business impact

    • Demonstrate expertise with the Force.com platform services including the following activities: Configure custom objects, fields, and page layouts; build workflow and approval processes; build formulas and validation rules; build reports & dashboards; knowledge of Visual Force; configure user roles, profiles, record sharing, email templates, and security settings

    • Develop components on the Salesforce platform both point-and-click and customizations on Lightning and Lightning components (Java-script and HTML), Apex, Visual Force, API, Force.com and workflows on force.com

    • Work with cross functional, globally dispersed development teams to support development efforts to meet business requirements.

    • Apply technical expertise across the project lifecycle, from leading user story points estimation to the design, build, test, and deployment of solutions using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

    • Build configurations and customizations on Fusion RM using Salesforce platform

    • Analyze complex systems integrations, data models, and workflows to troubleshoot and isolate system issues

    • Develop proof of concepts (POC) on Salesforce and AppExchange components and connectors

    • Perform technical fit/gap analysis on the Salesforce platform to support new initiatives and products

    • Review code, lead refactoring activities, and provide guidance to vendors and other developers

    • Define and maintain coding standards and admin tasks, and guide team members to comply with these standards.

    • Experience Deploying Salesforce Components using CI/CD

    • Collaborate with business analysis and quality assurance engineers to fix defects.

    • Plan and sequence release deployment activities in coordination with Release Management

    • Drive issue resolution, risk identification and mitigation, and dependency management.

    • Support the company standards for software development (SDLC), compliance, and SOX controls by producing the required artifacts and adhering to process and access controls.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, preferably with professional experience in Operational Resiliency space preferred

    • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration both point-and-click and customizations with focus on Lightning and Lightning Components (Java-script and HTML), Apex, Visual Force, API, Force.com and workflows considering force.com best practices and limitations.

    • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce administration, doing implementation, configuration, customization, reporting and troubleshooting production issues

    • Deep knowledge of Salesforce best practices in designing data model, security, and Apex coding standards.

    • Hands-on experience in design and building integrations (REST API, SOAP, MuleSoft) between Salesforce and on premise or cloud applications

    • Experience in handling large amount of data and performing data loads and backfills in Salesforce

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to both functional and technical teams

    • Ability to flex from an individual contributor as a Salesforce developer and technical lead for a small Salesforce onsite/offshore development team

    • Self-directed, adaptable, flexible, and curious.

    • Proven ability to articulate application requirements and functionality to IT peers.

    • Experience in Agile development, iterative development, and proof of concepts (POCs).

    • Proven customer service skills necessary to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships

    For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $130,800.00 to $189,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
