Business Content Analyst / Library Science

ontent set and is a point of contact for content vendors, managing both the source additions/maintenance and the implementation pipeline. Responsibilities include:

• Efficiently manage a network of growing content vendors working with the various departments that support the integration process to ensure the timely and seamless delivery of content into the system.

• Direct, prioritize and delegate daily work to a team of developers who parse inbound data formats and transform text files into proprietary outbound formats.

• Content onboarding and requirement gathering/documenting to ensure end to end customer facing requirements are considered

• Identify potential providers and sources to add to the content collection

• Research new or requested content sources for collection suitability based on the overall content strategy, budget, competition, and industry trends.

• Analyse data from prospective data providers to ensure data quality.

• Maintain the content collection quality and currency and categorizes all sources in the content collection.

• Coordinate monitoring of reported issues, research changes to sources, and removes dead sources from the collection(s)

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience preferably within company information/data industry
• Good understanding of processes associated with data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Works well in a fast-paced team environment; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Has expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Consistently displays good presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
