Role/Responsibilities
As a member of the Publication Operations team, the Data Modelling Specialist will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline.
Gain an in-depth understanding on the availability and publication of key data domains for entities: firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures. (a.o.)
Help in documenting the data dictionary.
Coordinate and provide Logical Data Model information across the business especially among engineers and product strategists.
Document and gather the requirements from the business.
Maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests following the data model governance operational workflow.
Keep improving the data model governance operational workflow.
Produce the stakeholders enablement material.
Inform and educate stakeholders.
Manage the reference table system(s).
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related major, Master's degree is a plus.
3+ years of professional Data Operations experience particularly focusing on the data models area.
Understand all aspects of ETL processes.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills which bring clarity and precision to help management understand and visualize complex material to support organizational decision-making is a must.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets.
Willing to learn new technologies, capable of self-directed learning.
Experience with Collibra.
Experience with Data Modelling tools.
Experience with streaming and APIs technology.
Experience writing SQL and/or Python queries.
Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture as well as NoSQL frameworks.
Nice-to-have French language knowledge.
