    Position summary

    tretching across varying setups from private data centers to virtual private clouds facilitating configuration management tools. Enrich the team with experience in analyzing, operating, optimizing and securing web technology application running systems and landscapes.

    Engineering Skills:

    • Plan, Design and Implement infrastructure configuration and migrations in alignment with Dir. of Software Engineering:
      o Identify a feasible solutions for a problem, particularly while working on and maintaining standards for a SOC II certification and DR projects
      o Be able to evaluate Pro's and Con's given specification and anticipated architecture strategy
      o Be able to efficiently present and argue (eliminating irrelevant factors) about architecture to receive a decision
    • Demonstrate critical judgement weighing the benefit of a change vs its implications as well local and global impact
    • Actively participate and ensure system stability (pre-emptively ie during daily monitoring of systems as well as actively during outages)

    Ownership & Responsibilities:

    • Identify the right solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended problems
    • Actively balancing security and performance consideration/desires with business needs and resource availability
    • Be in contact with stakeholders
    • Support awareness as well as procedural correctness (while following it yourself) in peers
    • Capable to identify a delay in my progress and accordingly action or at least suggest a mitigation strategy to meet the deadline

    Soft Skills:

    • Able to give constructive feedback
    • Excellent English communication capabilities, be able to paraphrase, explain, anticipate where to be as brief and as effective as possible vs where its necessary to be elaborate

    Qualifications/required background:

    • 3-5+ years' work experience in similar positions or University degree in IT background
    • Experience in working with international teams or excellent English skills
    • Web&Cloud Technology/Security standards, protocols, best practices
    • Preferably strong knowledge of Infrastructure Management tools, Configuration Management tools and or Infrastructure As Code tools, specifically Docker, Ansible and Terraform
    • Preferably strong knowledge of scripting languages like Bash/Shell Scripting, Python, JavaScript
    • Knowledge of DevOps and/or CI/CD pipelines, how to use, extend and maintain
    • Ability to translate high level input of desired system state into tangible and actionable execution and migration plans
    • Code Versioning, concretely GIT
