    Position summary

    Services (AS) group provides an integrated suite of services and solutions to BFSI Customers. It helps organizations benefit from high-quality analytical intelligence across multiple aspects of risk management, using the latest data and models, robust, automated, and scalable processes, and deep industry expertise.

    The role is a unique opportunity within the Analytics Delivery Team, a crucial part of the Buy-side solutions (BSS) business line at Moody's Analytics. This team is at the forefront of providing modern technology solutions to asset owners, consultants, asset managers, and insurers. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering risk analytics, primarily for the customers of the PFaroe DB product - a valuation, reporting, and analytics platform for pension schemes. You will also have the chance to contribute to other products across Moody's Analytics, such as asset management and insurance.

    Role/Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for Daily, Monthly, and Quarterly tasks, which initially include performing asset and risk valuations.
    2. Gather and review daily market data like curves and indices.
    3. Troubleshoot and resolve error in existing automations on Python and R scripts. Contribute to enhance existing applications
    4. Automate and deliver process efficiency
    5. Assist senior team members in areas such as technical support, training, automation of existing internal processes and production of bespoke client deliverables.
    6. Collaborate with engineers, Product/Project Managers and operations leads to develop effective tools and applications, following coding, documentation, and design standards
    7. Innovate, design and develop extensible and reusable applications to specification
    8. Work with multi-technologies

    Qualifications:

    REQUIRED:

    1. MCA / BE (Computers or equivalent) or Bachelor or master's degree in finance/statistics/economics/computer studies or related disciplines.
    2. 3-4 years professional experience developing multi-tier, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python/ R, Power Query, APIs.
    3. 2+ year hands-on demonstrable experience in SQL Server 2012/2014/2016.
    4. Ability to work collaboratively with others.
    5. Candidate should have the ability to transition as priorities change to meet demands.
    6. Ability to perform in a multi-tasking, team-oriented environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    7. Flexible in terms of Shift Timings.
    8. Ability to work to demanding timescales while maintaining high standards.

    PREFERRED:

    • Knowledge of financial instruments
