    As a member of the Solutions Delivery - Data Feeds operations team, the software engineer supports the deliveries our data feeds, the development and maintenance of our tools, and the maintenance of our infrastructure to guarantee our deliveries. The processes and systems need to be followed, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and protocol.

    Responsibilities:

    • Help maintain Legacy software applications using C# and .NET Framework.

    • Participate in exploratory and execution of .NET Framework to .NET Core migrations.

    • Participate in exploratory and execution of Microservice implementations.

    • Write complex SQL queries to interact with databases. Implement object-oriented programming principles and SOLID principles.

    • Work with JavaScript to create dynamic, interactive user interfaces.

    • Adhere to Agile software development methodologies.

    • Work with JSON and XML data formats.

    • Use Visual Studio as primary development environment.

    • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies

    • Identify opportunities for process automation and streamlining to improve operational efficiency.

    • Work towards automating the detection and resolution of recurring issues, reducing manual effort and enhancing efficiency.

    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    • Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field

    • At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience performing software development and designing technical solutions:

      • providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in Production, UAT, and Stage environments;
      • designing, developing and deploying cloud-based systems;
      • applying design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment;
      • using .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, REST Api, Html, CSS, JavaScript, Single Page Applications, SQL, and automated testing tools, including nUnit / xUnit;
      • using build tools and version control systems, including GIT / BitBucket;
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

    • Self-motivated and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.

    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing business needs.

    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
