e a core member of a cross-functional, integration team responsible for developing and executing on a vision for the Platform. We practice an agile, highly customer focused, and learning-based approach to product development. You will be a part of end-to-end development of client-facing software applications, helping develop new features and product integrations. You bring not only strong experience. with API development, algorithms, data structures, coding, and distributed systems, but also a passion for translating those skills into business impact for our customers.
Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with product owners and QA analysts to define requirements and prioritize tasks
Design and implement technical solutions for new products and features
Help define testing, monitoring, and delivery plans for your work
Write well-designed, testable code Peer review code changes
Mentor more junior team members in technical aspects of their roles
Learn, adapt, and propose new technologies to address our functional and scaling challenges
Champion and drive engineering processes and best practices.
Qualifications
Required minimum 8+ years of experience.
Ability to develop software in Python, Rust, or other programming languages with frameworks like Bootstrap or REACT.
Experience with one of the main cloud providers (GCP / AWS / Azure) would be beneficial
Ability to design maintainable APIs
The candidate should design an appropriate REST endpoint following best practices around HTTP methods, query params, etc.
The candidate should be able to structure a basic REST API using JSON and make appropriate choices about naming and data structure.
Solid understanding of data modeling and database systems
Experience working on a collaborative product team passionate about Agile software processes, data-driven development, and experimentation
Strong analytical and reasoning skills and an ability to communicate ideas to non-technical audiences
Ability to guide own learning and contribute to domain knowledge building
