    Position summary

    ce protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firms books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators and serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.

    Job Summary
    The Project Manager will support the Finance PMO in the end-to-end delivery of regulatory and strategic business programs impacting the Finance Division.

    Responsibilities
    The Project Manager would act as the point person across each of the Finance functional groups, divisions outside of Finance and the technology teams during all phases of the program management life cycle. The Project Manager will facilitate effective coordination between cross-functional teams. This role requires a proactive individual who can streamline communication, manage project timelines and escalations of risks and issues. The Project Manager will work at the direction of the Finance PMO team lead in support Finance program sponsors.

    1. Cross Functional Team Coordination:

    Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams
    Schedule and organize cross-functional meetings, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are involved
    Document and follow up on actions and decisions made during meetings
    Dependencies and interdependencies management

    1. Project Planning and Execution:

    Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
    Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and escalating them to the stakeholders
    Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within scope

    1. Reporting and Documentation:

    Create and maintain project documentation, including status trackers, risk and issues logs, and meeting minutes
    Prepare regular updates and presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders

    1. Stakeholder Management:

    Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner
    Facilitate issue resolution within and between teams
    Manage and facilitate documentation reviews and sign-offs

    Qualifications

    5 years of experience in financial services
    Prior project management experience on projects for the Finance division of financial services firm is a plus
    Finance/Accounting/Regulatory Experience - A good understanding of the finance function and related processes
    Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
    Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Ability to navigate a complex organization
    Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    Excellent soft skills with experience working across groups

    Systems:

    Experience with Excel, PowerPoint
    Experience with Visio, Project, Rally, Signavio is a plus

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
