s part of our continuing focus on providing clients with industry leading investment advice we are looking for an experienced fixed income product specialist. Reporting to the Head of Investment Solutions, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Wealth Management's fixed income offering, including the implementation of fixed income solutions across all fixed income sub-asset classes.
The incumbent will be required to work with stakeholders across the organisation including: Financial Advisers, Marketing, Business Management, Risk Management, Trading, Operations Management, Legal and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth by working with Financial Advisers to identify opportunities within their clients' portfolios based off the macro-economic environment as well as Morgan Stanley Research views
Ongoing communication on rates / credit markets, industry sectors and topical themes within fixed income
Liaise with our fixed income execution desk in Hong Kong and onshore counterparties to implement investments
Develop an ongoing portfolio review process and provide recommendations
Develop marketing materials and participate in client presentations
Provide analysis on fixed interest new issues for Capital Markets Committee
Education and training of Financial Advisers and clients
Assist the research team in the review of fixed income fund managers for the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Focus List
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
You will be a subject matter expert on fixed income markets & products, and responsible for thought leadership, and the implementation of Morgan Stanley's macroeconomic views in client portfolios, including the Firm's Multi Asset Portfolio Solutions (MAPS) managed accounts.
The candidate must have the ability to develop strong relationships with various teams across the firm, and excellent communications skills to achieve desired results
A good understanding of the Wealth Management business is preferred
The candidate will be required to influence and build strong relationships with financial advisers; good client skills are essential
The candidate will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and will need to able to build strong, collaborative relationships.
The candidate will also require strong motivation, be able work independently, and as a team when necessary, and approach problems with a positive outlook and desire to find solutions
Strong writing skills
Ability to manage own workload
Desirable tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce
Post graduate industry qualifications will be an advantage
Strong analytical skills
10 years financial markets experience.
Ensure the business unit maintains the ethical standards contained in the Company Code of Conduct
