The role offers an opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across Firm Risk Management, Wealth Management and with other stakeholders that support the U.S. Banks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Consolidate Risk Management Metrics for reporting
  • Support Strategic Risk and Concentration Risk reporting
  • Assist management with overseeing and reporting on Strategic initiatives across the U.S. Banks
  • Support independent validation processes to assess First Line remediation
  • Coordinate and deliver on ad-hoc requests
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Business, Finance, or similar
  • 2+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry (Control, Regulatory, Risk, Compliance, or Internal Audit background preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including formulas, functions, and pivot tables
  • Skilled in designing informative PowerPoint presentations for a senior audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively and establish trust with stakeholders across the business
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and bring tasks to completion
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced changing environment and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $68,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
