The Alternative Investments Transfers for Liquid Products Analyst will be responsible for transfers across a wide spectrum of alternative investments products. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, including but not limited to financial advisors and their teams, asset managers and fund administrators.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
1-3 years' experience in financial services related field
Prior operational and/or alternative investments experience is a plus
Inquisitive, creative thinker who is motivated to learn and driven to achieve exceptional results
Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
Efficient time management skills / ability to prioritize competing urgent tasks that team is involved with
Ability to ensure process consistency and adherence to all procedural guidelines
Strong work ethic and interest in improving business, technical and operational processes
Securities licensing (SIE and Series 7 or 99) preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular strength in Microsoft Excel is required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
