To assist with the technical development, implementation, and maintenance of the corporate Activity Based Costing (ABC) automated system. Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, database, and ETL processes using Structured Query Language (SQL). Collaborate with internal business partners across divisions to integrate analytical tools and solutions into cost analysis platform. Research data analysis tasks and/or projects.
•Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis of large multi-dimensional data
•Create dashboards/ scorecards using Tableau/ Power BI
•Write, modify, and debug Structured Query Language (SQL), execute SQL in production using database utilities
•Diagnose and correct problems that occur within databases and application interfaces
•Develop database documentation, including standards and procedures
•Gather and interpret business needs and turn them into technical requirements, process model definitions and rules using specific practices and templates
•Support migration of the corporate Activity Based Costing (ABC) system through multiple environments and participate in software fixes/upgrades
•Collaborate with internal business partners across divisions to integrate analytical tools and solutions into cost analysis platform
•Participate in the design, analysis and preparation of ABC studies and reports to determine member, product and channel costs
•Research, gather and synthesize data; present conclusions and recommendations to management and/or team members
•Establish processes and procedures to ensure accurate and complete compilation of ABC submittals
•Implement technical controls to ensure data integrity/accuracy
•Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation, etc.
•Assist functional areas and management with the implementation of study findings and coordinate responses to corporate cost related inquiries
•Serve as point of contact with other ISD staff, business areas, and vendors regarding technical issues, complex testing and troubleshooting
•Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standards
•Participate in identifying, establishing, and reporting key metrics, performing costs analysis, and ensuring data integrity
•Maintain relationships with key technical/non-technical stakeholders
•Perform other duties as assigned
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
• Experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence
• Experience with analytical and data interpretation skills using analytical and database tools, data profiling tools and SQL
• Experience and proficiency with data querying, reporting and forecasting including demonstrated skill using automated cost accounting software
• Experience that demonstrates broad functional and informational requirements, interpreting informational models and mappings
• Experience using analytical software including Excel, Access, Visio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Hadoop, Oracle BI
•Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills including the ability to clearly present findings and alternatives
•Ability to work in a changing environment and assess the impact of changes on objectives and to rapidly shift priorities as circumstances change
•Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills including mathematical aptitude
•Advanced skill testing, presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment
•Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills
•Expert database and presentation software skills
•Desired - Significant experience with automated cost accounting/planning/budgeting systems
•Desired - Significant experience with credit union financials and/or NCUA regulations

Salary: Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain
competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
The salary range for this position is: $72,300 to $142,000 Annual
