a practical, scalable solution that leverages the functionality and best practices of SFMC
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and security protocols
- Experience in designing and architecting different components of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and also integrate with MuleSoft and other on-prem applications
- Experience in implementing a scalable SFMC solution for sending high volume communications via different channels such as Email, SMS, Push
- Experience in building real time capture of communications sent to customers for compliance and customer service purposes
- Familiarity with various SFMC studios such as email studio, mobile studio (mobileconnect and mobilepush), automation studio, Web studio (cloud pages) and builders such as Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Contact Builder, Content Builder etc.
- Knowledge in SFMC technologies such as Ampscript and SSJS. Experienced in Data Extensions, Package Manager, Template creation, reports, data views, Event Notification Service (ENS), Rest/Soap APIs available within SFMC
- Experience in set up options such as installed packages, SFTP, users/roles and other setup options
- Experience in migration of communication solutions from legacy/on-prem SF instances to SFMC preferred
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including develpers, solution architects, and business stakeholders, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Evaluate existing systems and compute environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with 3-5 years of direct experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong and effective relationship builder with the ability to influence across technology teams and collaborate effectively with stake holders
- Experience with Agile delivery methods is required
- Omnichannel marketing integrations (Social, SMS messages, Chat)
- Real time marketing, Streaming API’s / REST / SOAP / BULK
- Automation Studio, Ampscript, Database integration, Database management, custom dev journey components
- Certified Salesforce marketing cloud system Administrator and Developer preferred
- Demonstrable aptitude in SQL or AMPScript (language specific to marketing cloud)
- Demonstrable aptitude in HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript
- Demonstrable expertise in Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
- Experience with mobile app SDKs and API integrations
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, data encryption
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
- Experience with one of the Customer Data Platform (Salesforce CDP, Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, etc.) a plus
