Continuing to build our Metadata collection for highly prioritized SMD systems
Building our SMD system architecture, how do systems talk to each other
Identifying data errors, patterns, and trends to answer business questions and improve decision-making
Performing validation checks for business unit reports and dashboards during cloud transition
Performing complex analytical statistical modeling and visualizations on large data sets to support various business operations and organizational objectives.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.
Responsibilities
Support Business Data Stewards in documenting data dictionaries
Support the technical aspects of the business area's data catalog from the perspective of planning, implementing, and testing bug fixes, new features, and upgrades, implementing new taxonomy properties, templates, and processes
Support continuous improvements in data quality, classification, metadata evaluation, and exporting/importing data processes
Support technical data stewards in documenting the lineage of data from creation to output, ensuring that the information is useable and meets the business needs
Enable data lineage collection and visualization at various granularities to be able to provide insights on the data flows between the various producers and consumers of business area data
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Analytics, or other related degree
Exposure to scripting languages (Python, R, etc.)
Experience with SQL
Experience with data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau)
Knowledge of cloud technologies (Databricks, Microsoft Azure)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience working with ambiguous problems
Curious and excited to collaborate with various business units
