    Responsibilities

    • Lead the development, maintenance and communication of the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the enterprise data product strategy
    • Lead the data product management function to translate customer needs into the end-to-end data product lifecycle, driving the concept of "data as a product"
    • Create innovative solutions and products through monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies and business needs with an emphasis on ensuring data enables exceptional member experiences
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize data needs.
    • Advocate for the strategic use of data and promote a data-driven culture
    • Drive transformation and change management efforts across the organization related to how Navy Federal generates value through the use of data
    • Lead and drive enterprise-wide efforts that benchmark and increase data and analytics maturity
    • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to communicate the vision, direction and strategic objectives and ensure alignment
    • Incorporate the strategic use of third-party data to support our aspirations to better serve our members
    • Drive enterprise-wide engagement with modern data and analytics tools and platforms
    • Advance and mature analytics talent across the enterprise through upskilling and strategic talent acquisition activities in partnership with HR and Business Units
    • Drive and foster a culture of data-driven decision making, data literacy and thinking, and leading with data and analytics
    • Manage the portfolio of data efforts across the organization, maintaining strong connections with stakeholders and ensuring business needs are met through the strategic use of data
    • Drive cost awareness and discipline regarding cloud-based data and analytics workflows across the user community
    • Establish, monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators and other measures of effectiveness for data and analytics across the organization
    • Incorporate current and emerging technology trends across the industry in the data domain
    • Perform supervisory and managerial responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in product management, to include developing business strategy and advanced skill influencing and guiding strategic thinking

    • Extensive experience in agile methodologies including lean portfolio management and customer-focused product management

    • Extensive experience in process mapping and developing metrics to track performance and goal achievement

    • Significant experience as a thought leader and innovator in the development of new tools, methodologies and problem-solving approaches

    • Proven experience driving value from cloud data platforms and a broad understanding of data infrastructure, architecture, and systems integration

    • Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of developments at the intersection of data science, technology and business relevant to the company and drive business innovation through analytics

    • Extensive experience in creating and delivering effective presentations to groups of various sizes and productively communicating to stakeholders, team members, and leaders

    • Significant experience in managing cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects of the highest complexity which have business risk and impact

    • Significant experience in driving change management and organizational development strategies in order to influence and assist organizational change initiatives

    • Advanced knowledge of Agile and SDLC project methodology

    • Desired - Significant experience in a senior leadership role for a large financial institution

    • Desired - Advanced knowledge of, and extensive experience with, credit union or retail banking operations

    • Excellent skills in managing relationships with stakeholders across multiple domains

    • Expert consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes

    • Advanced skill in being adaptive/flexible; acquire, recognize & apply new information

    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

    Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
