    JOB AT A GLANCE:
    In this challenging position, you will be responsible for managing the operational processes of the Sales Operations Team including the daily workflow of order entry, schedule maintenance and reconciliation. You will coordinate/participate in training for new Team Leaders and Sales Coordinators ensuring that the productivity and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for directly managing Sales Support staff including hiring of new staff and conducting staff evaluations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Work with Political/Sales Operations Management Team to analyze and assess staffing requirements and timing of temporary employees to project staff needs on a continuous basis.

    • Conduct interviews, hire, and develop new staff to ensure they follow policy and procedures.

    • Organize the sales ops team across offices, visualize future impacts and needs, energize the employees to get their tasks done and ensure that the productivity and quality standards are met.

    • Provide oversight over the political streaming team and implement new workflows that encourage greater accuracy and efficiency

    • Assess and monitor team workload daily, identify priorities and redistribute workload to ensure timeliness and efficiency across regions as necessary in partnership with Sales Operations Managers.

    • Manage systems to support, track and report on metrics needed to ensure all orders are processed and stewarded correctly (Political paperwork).

    • Coordinate training for new Team Leaders and Sales Coordinators on applicable applications and political order process as well as ongoing training on new applications that apply to operational processes.

    • Create political training materials including curriculum, lesson plans, training manuals, & tip sheets.

    • Work with Political Sales Management, Sales Operations and Ad Tech Operations on improving efficiencies in applications that affect the Sales and support process in preparation for future political cycles.

    • Participate in testing of applications and workflow enhancements as needed.

    • Work with Sales Operations, Political Team, and Finance to ensure proper adherence to business protocol.

    EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum Bachelors degree required
    • 2-3 years Operations experience preferred
    • Previous experience in managing a team of individuals
    • Accuracy, excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems are essential
    • Must be detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to understand/analyze operational metrics
    • Must be able to meet strict deadlines; excellent written/oral communication skills required
    • Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with clients and customers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
