Senior Software Engineer(Reverse proxy)

Job Overview

As part of the Inline CASB team, you will have an opportunity to work on world class CASB solutions that enable visibility and control for widely used enterprise applications. You will have an opportunity to work on one of the cutting edge traffic steering modes with a reverse proxy solution to extend Netskope CASB protection to non corporate devices that helps enable BYOD policies for organisations to its employees with full protection over enterprise SaaS application access. You will also work on the different authentication proxies that include SAML, WS-Fed/WS-Trust, MS Active sync etc. Netskope is looking for innovative, passionate, self motivated, talented engineers who are willing to go the extra mile and make a great impact delivering high quality solutions for our customers. 

Job Responsibilities

• Understand the various use cases and work flows for native/browser access of SaaS apps and support the app access requirements/use cases via Netskope reverse proxy solution. Also maintain & enhance the access control features for the supported SaaS apps. 
• Work closely with the product management team on the new apps support & to define new access control use cases. 
• Involve in the complete development life cycle starting with understanding various requirements, understand/define functional specs,  development with high efficacy/quality & measure the efficacy based on production data.
• Develop necessary tools, preferably in Python/Go, to assist with research,  development & maintenance of SaaS app support.
• Identify gaps in existing solutions/processes and bring in innovative ideas that help evolve the solution over time.
• Develop unit/integration tests to achieve 100% code coverage
• Work closely with the technical support team to handle customer escalations. Analyze the product gaps that resulted in customer issues and improve the signature resiliency and test strategy. 

Preferred Qualification

• B.E /B.Tech /M.Tech degree from a recognised and accredited university/college
• Minimum 4+ years of work experience.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Hand on programming experience in Python or Go with Regex experience. Javascript will be a plus.

• Hand on experience in design & development of one or more of the following: 

• Identity and Access Management, SSO, SAML, Open ID, OAuth2 or 2FA technologies.

• Very good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS is a must. 

• Must have knowledge on TCP/IP, PKI, Certificates & web technologies like HTML5, JSON, Rest APIs, Javascripts.

• Experience with TCP/IP & L7 packet inspection with tools like Burp / Wireshark / Fiddler or any other tool would be a plus

• Excellent analytical, debugging & problem-solving skills

Additional Skills

• Good understanding of cloud security solutions & cloud deployments.
• Cloud services monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with web server automation from various access platforms (browser/native app).
• Development experience in Web Proxy/Firewall is a big plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
