WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering team and oversee the development and implementation of innovative tools for infrastructure provisioning and management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work in a global, matrixed corporate environment. In addition, this role requires specific expertise in cloud, software development, and IT infrastructure.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract top engineering talent

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of engineers with expertise in software, cloud and IT infrastructure

• Collaborate with product management to develop innovative tools for infrastructure provisioning and management

• Work with a global customer base to understand their needs and build solutions that meet those needs

• Manage and prioritize engineering projects to ensure timely delivery

• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our engineering practices

• Develop and manage engineering budgets

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth integration of engineering solutions

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering; preferably in the cloud or infrastructure space
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong technical skills in software development, cloud architecture, and IT infrastructure management
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with networking technologies such as VPNs, VPCs, and load balancers
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
