    We are looking for a driven level 1 EHS Manager with a passion for logistics and wellbeing to guide the EHS team at Nikes European Logistics Campus (ELC). A EHS pioneer with socially skills at making contacts and who wants to share knowledge. The suitable candidate is used to adapt to the needs of a rapidly changing logistics landscape.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a EHS Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting tot the EHS Director, the EHS Manager will be responsible for developing an EHS-strategy for distribution activities of Nikes ELC.


    The EHS team is responsible for supporting the management in implementing and maintaining the health and safety measures. Your assignment is to lead a team of safety experts in the analysis and assessment of risks and to advise the organization. Through your support and mentorship, you allow the team to grow in the contribution within the organization.

    Together with your team you will (be):

    • (Co)responsible for drawing up and following up the global prevention plan and the annual action plan.

    • Supervising the elaboration, programming, implementation and evaluation of the multifaceted risk management system.

    • Mentoring change processes in the organization and actively participating in change mechanisms in the context of "Management of Change".

    • Detect hazards, carry out risk analyses and translate them into preventive measures and (corrective) actions.

    • Investigate incidents/accidents, follow up and formulate advice to prevent them.

    • Providing advice (solicited and unsolicited) on the organization of the workplace, the workstation and the work equipment.

    • Handle new requests or changes in storage and transshipment of products.

    • Follow-up of existing procedures and instructions, supervising the implementation and execution of new or adapted procedures and instructions and formulating improvement proposals.

    • Participate in safety studies and audits carried out by third parties.

    • (Co-)organizing training and strengthening the safety awareness of the employees.


    You work together with your EHS colleagues, the CPBW members and your Distribution colleagues Intensively with the prevention advisors of the distribution centers.


    • Shown experience in handling EHS activities and the associated administrative aspects.

    • Certificate in safety science level 1.

    • You have analytical skills and can easily synthesize to arrive at clear advice.

    • Knowledge and experience in welfare legislation and related legal aspects and standards.

    • Experience in participating in a CPBW (safety committee) and collaboration with trade unions.
