We exist to serve our athletes and the Director Of EMEA Payroll is responsible for leading and performing the payroll in 25 countries serving 20,000 employees. Responsible for developing a world-class payroll operation across EMEA and growing and supporting a team of 33. This role will support the Workday HCM Implementation targeted for July, 2023 and support and stabilize all post implementation activities to deliver an accurate and timely payroll. .
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
The EMEA payroll head will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant payrolls across 25 countries for 20,000 employees. The leader must define a strong governance process to ensure the country teams follow the defined standard processes, standardized model and define controls. Partner with payroll staff and cross-functional teams to optimize processes through automation, process improvements and alignment of roles and responsibilities. The leader must work with teams to deliver on operational goals, KPIs and SLAs. The leaders must have a proven track record of managing payroll operations, implementations and stabilization of payroll vendor and time applications while continue to deliver and timely and accurate payroll.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This position reports to the Sr Director, Global Payroll.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Provide leadership and direction across the region.
Prepare and support payroll staff with upcoming Workday HCM implementation
Lead payroll teams across 25 countries driving accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
Responsible for providing direction, coaching and moving roadblocks for country payroll managers and specialist.
Ensure payroll processing standards and controls are implemented for each payroll. Meet the defined KPIs, SLAs, vendor management applying standard monthly agreements.
Process all post payroll activities. Meet all deadlines with third party remittances and filings.
Assess and reengineer end-to-end processes, including controls, needed and audit requirements. Drive end to end operational excellence with cross functional partners.
Experience in communicating with Works Council, External and internal auditors.
Understanding country regulatory requirements and agreed contracts.
Develop strong partnership with Finance, Total Rewards, Tech and other HR & Accounting functional areas to ensure integrated delivery of payroll outcomes (tax, compliance, reporting etc)
Partner with Transformation and Delivery Lead to move forward Payroll Vendor Strategy.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience leading payroll operations, driving process improvements and supporting vendor payroll and time implementations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams across 25 countries.
Ability to Manages work with tight timelines and competing priorities
Willingness to drive into the details and support teams to drive efficiency.
Possess a creative attitude, adaptability, resourceful when planning and implementing strategy.
Strong collaborator with the ability to provide a value in every single interaction with internal partners and stakeholders.

Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
