The Business HR (BHR) Business Operations lead enables BHR's roles to deliver the organization, talent and culture required for NIKE to win in the marketplace.
This position reports to the Senior Director, BHR Strategy and partners with the APLA VP BHR to create greater integration and connection cross-functionally within the Geo. This role will work collaboratively with Business HR (BHR) Strategy, GEO BHR VP & Leadership Team , Corporate Functions & Centers of Excellence (COEs) , People Solutions and NIKE People Strategy. This includes supporting the synchronization of interconnected, Geo-relevant Team and Talent strategy, agenda, and programs. The insights from APLA will be a critical component of our central BHR Strategy team's efforts and evolution of the BHR function.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Business HR (BHR) Business Operations lead helps to craft and evolve Geo - specifically Asia Pacific and Latin America or APLA - Business-relevant People Strategy and HR programs by providing business context, input, and design support.
6+ years of diverse HR experience within and/or across HR COE's, People Solutions, Business HR (BHR) teams, ideally with Geo and/or Brand experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
Experience with strategy actioning and monitoring, using analytical skills to advise leaders / business to improve performance.
Demonstrated performance of navigating ambiguity, gaining fluency in new business areas, and adding value.
Ability to perform in an influence-based role and builds commitment across the matrix at the executive level.
Manage multiple projects and translate strategic objectives into tangible programs and outcomes; promote conceptual understanding, facilitate decision making, and mobilize change through excellent storytelling.
Proven proficiency within and/or across HR COEs and PS, BHR teams; ideally with Geo and/or Brand experience
Deep understanding of business context, goals, financials, trends and intersections with team and talent objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You would support the synchronization of interconnected, Geo-relevant Team and Talent strategy, agenda, and programs alongside the APLA VP BHR and leadership team. Your insights from APLA will be a critical component of our central BHR Strategy team's efforts and evolution of the BHR function.
Annual Planning & In-Year Management
Support annual and in-year processes, in alignment with established Business and Enterprise HR strategy cadences: short term annual planning, in-year Mgmt./portfolio Mgmt., etc.
Build alignment around insights and implications to portfolio of work, recommend and support in-year pivots as needed to align with enterprise strategy, and partner with the VP BHR to support them in identifying and resolving roadblocks related to work and its activation / completion.
Integration & Aggregation
Responsible for partnering on behalf of Geo BHR and Business with HR COEs and People Solutions to influence and advise degrees of Geo customization.
Support Geo BHR and Business integration and synchronization with core HR programs with appropriate bias for consistent teammate experiences.
Proactively work through ambiguity, aggregate necessary information and outline clear path forward for partners to deliver against work.
Team Effectiveness & Operations
Ensure teams are operating optimally to meet our enterprise and business goals and enable greater BHR focus as strategic, consultative partners to the business.
BHR Strategy
Develop processes, actions, and routines that ensure strategy is an ongoing and active process lived by the team daily (ex: facilitate working sessions to further team impact and address current and anticipated changes / challenges affecting the Business, communicate team strategy).
Act as a catalyst by helping to specify the implementation steps needed to carry out the strategic vision.
