The candidate will bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training (science, math, materials science or engineering preferred), with master's degree or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
5+ years of experience with product chemistry in related supply chains preferred
Experience in laboratory analyses is a plus
Superior quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
Expert in setting program goals and managing strict timelines
Strongest sense of responsibility and ethics
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working across diverse groups and tailoring communications appropriately
History of successful engagement in industry collaborations or trade organizations
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role you will be the program lead for our product and material chemistry compliance program. You will work on evolving our approach to ensure material and product chemistry compliance on a global scale and be the subject matter expert connecting directly with business partners and the supply chain on chemical compliance topics. You will develop new approaches to meet the evolving regulatory landscape and be responsible for the annual update of our Chemistry Playbook & Restricted Substances List, along with the tools/training to support. You will be responsible for engaging within chemistry focused industry groups to continually improve chemical management and compliance frameworks.
On any given day you will work on:
Evolving our chemistry compliance program to ensure global market access
Collaborate with teams on chemical phase outs and drive year on year progress
Provide subject matter expertise on product and process chemistry
Present program updates to multiple levels of the business
Training teams and socializing chemistry compliance requirements
Maintain, update and scale supplier focused training programs
Leverage critical thinking to solve complex challenges
