WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Sr People Solutions Consultant (Retail). People Solutions Consultant supports the Sr Dir, People Solutions Consulting Retail in shaping the overall NIKE Inc. Teammate experience through the delivery of specialized services within their sub-region or teammate segment(s)
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Strategic:
Deliver core HR programs, ensuring programs contribute to a compelling employee experience engaging with HR and meet business and local needs
Work with Sr Dir, People Solutions Consulting Retail to harmonize site and regional specific priorities in alignment with overarching goals and global standards (https://e.g., total rewards, talent acquisition, employee relations and talent management initiatives)
Provide data, metrics and local insights and partner with Sr Dir, People Solutions Consulting to develop solutions, programs and policies and influence / inform COE and Business HR strategy
Maintain in-depth knowledge of country legal requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Employment Law as needed/required
Operational:
Leads delivery of integrated HR solutions across the Nike business at-scale and runs offense on complex support needs. This includes guiding Teammates through complex issues, designing and implementing scalable solutions for countries (https://e.g. labor relations approach, benefits adjustments, DE&I programs, internships, employee experience, etc.), delivering training, managing policies, providing country specific legal / regulatory expertise, and delivery unique local programs as needed!
Manage sophisticated partner concerns, including resolving complex inquiries and transactions and calling out the small number that cannot be resolved to the appropriate partner
Implement, review, and action on Key performance Indicators achievement within the region and process responsibility
Provide support for required WC processes (Converse & Nike)
Lead fleet management (opening/closures/refits) activities for stores and support in the activation of org design changes
Leadership:
Nurture a culture of dedication and career progression across Nike through developing teammates, and leaders to deliver a magnificent teammate experience!
Model and empower integrative thinking and delivery across all services within the region-constantly looking out for the integrated teammate experience and partnering with other HR leaders/teams to strengthen services or launch new services.
Stakeholder management. Be an active and professional ambassador of HR whilst building strong relationships with our partners
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Teammate Experience Services to provide support for advanced inquires and to develop global standards
COEs to define processes and procedures for program delivery
HRBPs to support needs of teammates in their business areas or serve as escalation point as needed
People Solutions Global Process Owner Leads to provide input for continuous improvement
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training
Demonstrated teammate-facing HR experience, demonstrating solid knowledge of the full spectrum of HR programs and policies, ideally gained in a retail environment
High business sense to translate global HR services and solutions to business and teammate needs
Ability to lead teams across geographically distributed countries and territories
Skilled at leading with influence and establishing cross-functional relationships to drive process adherence and alignment across regions
Capacity to apply and integrate knowledge on a broad range of HR delivery areas into practical solutions
Understands local nuances and has solid knowledge of different regions, including sensing, cultural awareness, brand connections, etc.
Well-developed industry knowledge, market insights, and proven enterprise thinking
Experience in Labor Relations related work and consultation, basis knowledge of local legislation
Strong mentorship and coaching capability
