    Position summary

    g segmented, consumer-centric assortment strategies for different concepts that bring Nike's brand vision to life, drive sustainable growth, and deliver exceptional sport experiences in all key retail locations.

    Key Partnerships:

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including:

    • Marketplace/Brand/Sport Merchandising

    • Gel Team

    • Retail Concept Development

    • Retail Marketing (Visual Merchandising, Concept Experience)

    • Account Team

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and own the holistic merchandising strategy with clear segmentation & differentiation for Nike's retail concepts across both direct and wholesale channels.

    • Continuously evolve concept strategies based on deep consumer insights and shifting market dynamics to maximize local relevance and commercial impact.

    • Define and implement merchandising frameworks for new retail concept formats, establishing benchmarks for excellence.

    2. Product/Assortment Excellence:

    • Retail End in mind, Lead and align door level assortment building block combining logic for 3000+The Nike Stores with consumer demand and retail priorities.

    • Identify and capitalize on marketplace initiatives, as well as city-inspired product and customization opportunities to enhance merchandising impact and local relevance.

    • Analyze performance data to continuously refine assortment strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving commercial success across key retail concepts.

    3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Serve as the merchandising authority within the Retail Concept team, fostering clear communication and strategic alignment with all partner functions.

    • Coordinate and oversee cross-sport special projects, ensuring timely delivery of process and deliverables.

    Functional Skill Required (Hard skills):

    • Deep knowledge of the Greater China consumer landscape and retail marketplace.

    • 3-5 years of merchandising or buying experience within the retail industry

    • Retail and financial acumen

    • Proficiency with standard office tools

    • Fluent in English

    Experience Required (Soft skills):

    • Demonstrate Brand Passion

    • Strong sense of responsibility, proven ability to deliver results through cross-functional teamwork and communication.
