    Position summary

    ectively responsible for elevating the quality and expression of Nike's digital experiences. We work closely and collaboratively with a cross-functional team of product designers, UX writers, product managers, engineers, producers, researchers, and marketers - collectively building digital products that "make athlete dreams real".

You blend aesthetic sensibility with technical skills - achieving interactive and technical breakthroughs while inspiring others through your vision and collaboration. You bring a wide array of expertise and a lot of curiosity. You have experience leading projects, guiding teams, and as a leader, you know how to mentor fellow creative technologists, designers and collaborators.

    What you bring

    • 10+ years of relevant experience in the digital product industry

    • A bachelor's degree or higher in design or related field (UX/UI design, human-computer interaction, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Proven experience designing and developing UI and interaction patterns that look and feel intuitive, innovative and delightful

    • Deep experience with relevant web and mobile development technologies

    • Experience applying human-centered design processes while working with cross functional teams

    • Experience launching software at scale in a fast-paced product organization

    • Curious, enthusiastic and collaborative with cross-functional partners

    • Can identify great experience design and provide meaningful critiques of discrepancies/opportunities in the team's work

    • Able to clearly articulate vision and strategy to leadership

    • Ability to communicate effectively with non technical stakeholders

    • Passion for the Nike brand, sports and for creating high-quality work

    • A lasting fascination with innovation, technology, digital tools and trends

    What you will work on

    You'll create innovative web and mobile app experiences that deliver Nike's vision to "make athlete dreams real". You'll work within the Design Studio team to collaborate on defining and implementing Nike's UX language, and you'll work with cross-functional partners across Nike on "big bets" - the digital experiences and expressions that position Nike at the forefront of inspiration and innovation.

    • Design and implement the look and feel of delightful Nike product experiences, features, user interactions and affordances

    • Create high quality design proposals and drive projects from concept through iterations and to implementation.

    • Work on projects that encompass multiple broad and/or undefined features

    • Ability to fuse creativity and code to deliver cutting edge interactive artifacts

    • Mentor and provide helpful feedback to fellow creative technologists and product designers to uplevel their craft and skills

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and inspire the team accordingly

    • Evangelize prototyping within Nike and driving initiatives that strengthen Nike's culture of innovation and experimentation
