    Position summary

    d a bachelor's degree and brings a minimum 4 to 7 years of operational execution experience in ocean origin operations.

    • Have the knowledge of ocean origin operations execution which includes ocean capacity management, equipment available, carrier forecasting, carrier booking and carrier documentation.

    • Is familiar with origin operations and transportation management platforms, such as TMS and track and trace systems.

    • Possesses strong communication and forward looking mindset to proactively drive actions with internal and external teams.

    • Possesses strong data analytical skills to assist in decision making and process control / improvement.

    WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

    You will be part of Origin Operations Control Tower team for delivering reliable and consistent ocean origin operations across origins to all Geographies (GEOs), ensuring shipments move seamlessly across Nike supply chain according to established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Service Level Agreement (SLA). Your key responsibilities include and not limited to:

    • Monitor key ocean origin operations milestone related to carrier booking and shipments with factories and Nike appointed logistics service providers (ocean carriers and origin consolidators).
    • Acting as escalation point for complex operational issue resolution and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruptions impacting cargo flow at origin and shipment out of origin.
    • Escalate critical exceptions with clear root cause perspectives and recommendation to leader.
    • Proactively identify exceptions and deviation from SOP, SLAs and milestones to ensure process adherence.
    • Guide junior team member in SOP adherence and exception handling.
    • Support monthly business reviews and internal leadership updates.
